Cutting matrix
It is the nutrient soil or river sand, muddy carbon soil and other materials used for cutting. It is difficult to obtain ideal cutting matrix due to the limited conditions of family cutting. It is recommended to use the prepared and detoxified cutting matrix; Medium coarse river sand can also be used, but it should be washed with clean water several times before use p>
Sea sand and river sand in saline alkali areas should not be used. They are not suitable for the growth of flowers and plants p>
The branches used for cutting are called cuttings. Usually, combined with coring work, the thick, pest-free top tip picked is used as cuttings and directly cut with the top tip p>
Suitable cutting temperature
The optimum temperature for cuttings rooting is 18 ℃ - 25 ℃, below 18 ℃, cuttings rooting is difficult and slow; When the temperature is higher than 25 ℃, the scissor of cuttings is easy to be infected by bacteria and rot, and the higher the temperature, the greater the proportion of rot p>
In case of low temperature after cutting, the main thermal insulation measure is to wrap the flowerpot or container used for cutting with film; When cutting temperature is too high, cooling measures are mainly for shading, covering 50-80% of sunlight, and spraying 3-5 times a day. The higher the temperature is, the higher the temperature is, and the higher the temperature is, the lower the temperature is. p>
Cutting maintenance
After cutting, the relative humidity of the air must be kept at 75-85%. We can increase the humidity by spraying the cuttings, 1-3 times a day. The higher the temperature is, the more times we will spray. The lower the temperature is, the less the spray will be. p>
but excessive spraying, the cuttings are easily rotted by the infection of bacteria, because many kinds of germs exist in water. p>
Cutting propagation is inseparable from sunlight. However, the stronger the light, the higher the temperature in the cuttings, the stronger the transpiration of cuttings and the more water consumed, which is not conducive to the survival of cuttings p>
Therefore, after cutting, the sunlight must be blocked by 50-80%. After the roots grow, the shading net shall be gradually removed: on sunny days, the shading net shall be removed at 4:00 p.m. every day, and the shading net shall be covered before 9:00 a.m. the next day p>
