Ramet propagation

Ramet propagation is mainly combined with pot change

When Chlorophytum grows for a long time, about 2-3 years, the plant is already very lush and can be used to reproduce separately

Ramet propagation is mainly to remove the old culture soil from the vigorous growing Chlorophytum in spring, wash the root with water, and put it in a cool place to dry until the fleshy root is soft, then cut the slightly wider gap of the leaf cluster with sharp scissors, divide it into two to several clusters, and potted them into new plants respectively

It should be noted that if several Chlorophytum are crowded together, they will separate after breaking a little. If it is a big tree, cut it with a knife and divide it into good plants before planting

Other breeding methods

In addition to cutting propagation and ramet propagation, small plants on walking stems can also be used for propagation

In the growing season of Chlorophytum, if smaller plants are found on the walking stem, cut them off and plant them in the culture soil or water. After the small plants grow roots, transplant them into the basin

It also has the method of sowing and breeding, but it is generally rarely used
