Cutting preparation materials
Plastic box, fish tank, white bottom sand (not too thick), potassium permanganate solution, plant branches p>
Cutting steps
put the prepared fish tank bottom sand into the foam box, wash it several times with water before. p>
pour the Potassium Permanganate solution into the foam box (the color purple is good, not too deep), whose height must diffuse over the bottom sand, to ensure that after the branches are inserted, there is still some space for the root growth. p>
The prepared branches can be selected from a variety of plant branches p>
Insert the branches into the box and put the box at the astigmatism. When the temperature is above 25 ℃, the water in the box will evaporate slowly. Here are the cuttings after two weeks. At this time, the root system has basically formed, and some water can be added appropriately p>
If you don't feel at ease, you can pull out a branch and have a look. The white root system has grown p>
Cutting precautions
The reason for choosing the bottom sand of fish tank is that there is no organic matter in it, which can prevent the branches from rotting. At the same time, the particle size of bottom sand is moderate and the air permeability is good p>
As for whether the flowers and redundant branches and leaves are cut off, it is best to cut them off, so that the nutrition in the branches will not be wasted p>
It's best to use fresh branches for branch cutting. If the dehydration time is too long, it's easy to lose the activity of branches and it's difficult to succeed in cutting p>
Another important factor to ensure the success of lazy cutting is "cutting the right flowers and plants in the right season". If the temperature in winter is too low, cool plants such as African Impatiens, angel's eye and Margaret should be cut indoors. It is not suitable to cut plants with obvious slow growth in winter such as spring and dwarf cattle. The cutting branches should be carried out in the growth period of the plant p>
