Seed propagation method
Seed selection
There are still many breeding methods for Parthenocissus. Let's talk about seed breeding first p>
Every autumn is when the Parthenocissus creeper fruit is ripe. When the color changes from green to purple, it can be picked. After some washing and drying treatment, the seeds are disinfected and stored in wet sand p>
Wait until the next spring and March, you can take it out and soak it in warm water for two days. After drying, mix it in the proportion of two sand and one seed, and then place it in a sunny but poorly ventilated environment. Often spray the sand surface, and you can sow it in about 20 days p>
Sow
Soften the prepared soil and put it into the container evenly. Water it to ensure sufficient water. Sprinkle the well mixed seed sand together. Unlike other plants, cover the seed sand with a layer of rotten soil, and then make a plastic film shed to promote germination p>
Cutting propagation
Branches
The best time to select branches is in June and July in summer. For some branches that are neither very tender nor very old, the length of cutting is probably more than 10 cm, and it doesn't have to be too long. The top part of the branch is not selected, but the middle part, so the upper end is cut transversely and the lower end is cut obliquely p>
Soak the branches with rooting powder for less than one hour before entering the soil. Do a good job in water supply and topdressing management after cutting p>
The above are the two simplest breeding methods of Parthenocissus. Flower friends, learn quickly and harvest a cool place next year p>
