Preparation before changing Basin

The quality of pot division is directly related to the growth of orchids and must not be taken lightly

Apply a thin fertilizer 5 ~ 6 days before pot division, which is conducive to the nutrient supplement of plants after pot division and accelerate the recovery

Do not water the pots 2-3 days before the pot division, and ensure that the pot soil is dry, so as not to hurt the orchid roots and flower buds. In the process of dividing the basin, do not drag it mechanically. Tap the basin wall gently to facilitate the soil to take off the basin

Disinfection

After taking the orchids out of the pot, shake off part of the soil and cut off the residual leaves and withered roots with sterilized scissors

Then grasp the root with your hand and separate the root with force, so as not to hurt the leaves

After clustering, trim the roots again, and cut off the diseased roots and old roots hidden in the middle

After pruning, soak it in 1:800 times of carbendazim or methyl tobuzin for half an hour. Rinse in clean water. Put it in a cool and ventilated place to dry for one to two hours. After the orchid root is slightly white, apply charcoal ash or sulfur powder to the incision of Cymbidium to prevent infection

Upper basin

Orchids in the basin are like people living in a room. They pay attention to comfort and pleasant orchids

First, prepare flower pots according to the size and number of seedlings, and avoid small seedlings and large pots

Hold the orchid plant with one hand and fill the soil with the other hand. Compact the soil, one plant in a basin. After placing, gently shake the orchid basin to make the orchid root slightly in contact with the plant material

Curing after pot Division

According to the actual situation, if there is some humidity in the soil, slow the seedlings for three or four days, and then pour water, which is more conducive to the recovery of orchid incision

For newly planted orchids, there is no need to spray water. Place them in a cool and ventilated environment for 7 ~ 10 days, and then turn to normal maintenance
