Shading
In summer, orchids like to grow in a cool and ventilated environment. After the beginning of summer, the sunshine increases day by day p>
In the north, when orchids just come out of the greenhouse, they can be placed under shady trees or next to bamboo forests, or in the shade and exposed to weak light in the morning and evening. In order to accelerate the growth of orchid buds, they can be exposed to one hour of weak light sooner or later p>
At the end of summer, it is more necessary to strengthen shading, prevent heatstroke and reduce temperature, sprinkle water frequently in the morning, afternoon and evening, and ventilate orchid breeding places frequently p>
Temperature control
The best temperature for orchid growth is 20 ~ 30 ℃, and orchid grows well in this range of temperature. The temperature is high, the orchid grows fast, the flowering period is early, and the flower fragrance is strong; The temperature is low, the orchid grows slowly, the flowering period is delayed, and the flower fragrance is light p>
In summer, the temperature during the day is controlled within the range of 24 ~ 30 ℃ and the temperature at night is controlled within the range of 16 ~ 24 ℃. Such temperature is suitable for the rapid growth of orchids and the accumulation of nutrients for the germination of summer and autumn buds, which is conducive to the multiple occurrence of orchids in summer p>
Watering
When the orchid basin is relatively dry, the correct way is to take rain water to pour through the orchid basin, so that the temperature and humidity of the small world in the basin is consistent with that of the outside nature. However, rainwater is not easy to get. You can use the tap water at home after 24 hours p>
Watering shall be carried out before sunrise in the morning and after the residual heat decreases in the evening p>
Fertilization
No matter what kind of organic fertilizer is used, it must be fully fermented and rotten, and diluted with purified water p>
Fertilization should be based on "thin fertilizer and frequent application". Liquid fertilizer should be applied every 10 days and in sunny nights. Within one or two hours after fertilization, or the next morning, water the potted orchid with clean water to remove the remaining fertilizer p>
Pest control
In the south, the sun is shining in summer, and there is plenty of rain. The plant material in the orchid basin turns sour and is prone to insect pests. Therefore, pesticide should be sprayed around the culture site and potted orchid every 7 days to kill insects and sterilize p>
