Branch propagation
The propagation rate of Dahe brocade is high, but you should pay attention to two points when inserting branches:
First, the cut should be flat to avoid causing too many wounds and affecting the cutting effect p>
Second, after cutting the branches, hang them in the shade for a while. After the wound heals, insert them in or square in the soil, and generally take root in about 3 weeks p>
Leaf cutting propagation
Leaf cutting propagation is the simplest method, but the growth cycle is relatively long p>
Remove the leaves from dahejin and air them in the shade for 1 ~ 2 days. After the wound heals, place them flat in coarse sand or vermiculite to make the wound contact with the soil p>
Keep the soil moist during cutting and put it in a semi shady and ventilated place. Small buds will grow after 15 ~ 20 days. With the passage of time, the small buds will grow larger and larger, and gradually form rosette leaf clusters. When the plant grows to a certain size, it will be taken out and planted into a small pot, which will become a new plant p>
Using leaf cutting, you can see the whole process of a leaf budding and growing into a plant, which is very interesting p>
Cutting propagation
The propagation of dahejin is generally cutting and leaf cutting. The cut plants can be directly cut into the soil and given a small amount of water after rooting p>
Put the rest in a bright place with scattered light and slowly grow lateral buds. However, it takes a certain time for the lateral buds to grow up. When they grow up, they can go to cuttings or grow on the original plant to become a multi headed Dahe brocade p>
