The seeds are light brown and quite small, so they can be sown in a shallow plate covered with a thin layer of fine sand. The shallow plate can be covered with plastic cloth or glass to maintain humidity. First spray some bactericide to prevent the seedlings from fungal diseases. They will germinate in about 15 ~ 30 days

After the cuttings and roots grow or the seedlings grow up, they can be planted in pots. Four parts of coarse river sand (fine-grained foamed stone or plain burnt stone) plus four parts of fine river sand and one part of organic culture soil, pearl stone and vermiculite can be used for planting. At the initial stage, they can be planted in 3.5-inch pots, and larger pots or flower beds can be selected according to the growth situation
