Use sawdust to turn waste into treasure
In general, sawdust is often dumped as garbage after decoration. In fact, sawdust is of great use to our florists. We can turn waste into treasure~~
Cutting
Sawdust as cutting medium of rose, gardenia, pomegranate and other plants has obvious effect, which is far better than soil or water cutting, and has fast rooting, many roots and strong plants. There is another advantage: after the plant takes root and survives, it can be moved into the basin soil together with the caked sawdust, so as not to hurt the root, easy to grow and see flowers and fruits early. Even Rhododendron, which is difficult to be inserted alive, I have tried successfully. The tender tip of inch long Begonia can also take root quickly. The reason is that the water retention and air permeability of sawdust are better than that of soil, and the oxygen is sufficient p>
Specific methods:
After putting the sawdust into the flowerpot, water it repeatedly with boiling water for several times to thoroughly disinfect it. After the temperature drops down, squeeze out the excess water (so that the wet sawdust can not be squeezed out by hand), and then you can start cutting. The method is the same as soil cutting. Keep the sawdust moist after cutting, and it will soon take root and survive. This law can be implemented all year round, but it needs to be placed on the sunny windowsill with heating in the house in winter p>
As a high-pressure dressing matrix
Sawdust is also superior to other substrates because of its loose texture and controllable dry and wet. It also has faster hair roots, safer hair roots and high survival rate p>
Specific method: after the plants are peeled, fill the plastic bag with the matrix mixed with wet sawdust and loess, and then tie the two ends tightly p>
As fertilizer
Using wet sawdust to make fertilizer has the advantages of comprehensive nutrition, economy, simplicity and sanitation p>
Specific method: mix wet sawdust with an appropriate amount of inorganic fertilizer such as calcium superphosphate or potassium phosphate or urea. It is better to mix organic fertilizer. Put it into a plastic bag and fasten the bag mouth. Turn it every two weeks to accelerate its uniform ripening. It can be used in about six weeks in spring and autumn p>
Note: 50% soil shall be added during use p>
There are several points listed above, and the rest is not redundant. In fact, sawdust is more useful than that. You can use your brains and try it p>
(oh, I forgot the important point. Now I add ~ ~ sawdust must be fermented before use.) p>
If you want good flowers and trees in winter, leave some grass in the basin
The reason why we say "stay" rather than "plant" is that some weeds in our pots often come uninvited and enjoy themselves and grow luxuriantly. Generally, the reaction of flower friends is that they hate their teeth and itch. They will want to get rid of them and then get rid of them quickly. It is also the so-called cutting grass and roots p>
It's not strange to say that this move is strange, because flower friends often put forward that it's difficult to master the watering scale in winter. Rotten roots and fallen leaves make it hard for flowers to survive. Is there any simple way to make everyone master the scale of watering quickly? Yes, please be merciful and leave a few weeds in the basin. Cut the grass and remove the roots p>
Generally speaking, most varieties of plants are in dormant or semi dormant state in winter. There is not much water supply, and the soil can be slightly moist. Many flower friends often rush to water when they see that the soil surface is white, thinking that they may dry the flowers. In fact, it is not. The soil surface is white, and the middle is still very wet. In this way, it is strange that the flowers and trees don't go wrong p>
Leave some grass in the basin, not all grass, but those green grass that stand up against the cold in winter. It's not that the more the better. Just three or five trees p>
When is it time to water? When should it not be watered? Look at the grass! If the grass is still standing green, don't water it; If the weeds are broken and have no spirit, water them immediately. The scale is so simple p>
Leaving some grass in the basin has more than these benefits: it can prevent cold in winter, protect against sun in summer, and decorate the basin surface - what do you think the bare soil looks good. In addition, when loosening the soil, a shovel of grass buried in the soil is green fertilizer, which is enough to compensate for the loss caused by the competition between wild grass and potted flowers p>
I've been watering this way for more than a year, and it's been tried repeatedly. If you believe, you can also try p>
Note: 1. Plants that are still blooming and bearing fruit in winter are not included in this example p>
2. This law also applies in other seasons p>
Propagation of green bamboo into forest
"It's better to eat without meat than live without bamboo", which was the case in the ancients and the same in today's people. Green bamboo is also one of the most important varieties for the greening of modern families around houses or in the environment. Planting trees often takes "ten years of trees", while planting bamboo can often create a clear shade and evergreen environment in one or two years. On a moonlit night, dancing bamboo shadows swaying outside the window can add infinite interest p>
A few bamboo poles and one or two pieces of quartz stones are planted in the basin, which is also the desk love of many flower growers p>
Bamboo is usually propagated with whip, and a few are sown with seeds. This kind of breeding method is rare (taught by my cousin), but the effect is excellent - it is simple and easy, and the survival rate is high. Those who love bamboo might as well try it p>
In the rainy season of early spring, select the mother bamboo with full bud bud and cut it from between the two sections (i.e. keep a knot scar in the middle); Then fill wet fine sand from both ends of the bamboo tube, fill and compact it, and then seal both ends of the bamboo tube with clay. This is the first step p>
Secondly, select the loose and permeable sandy loam. According to the thickness of the bamboo tube, dig a ditch with a depth of about 10cm, lay the treated bamboo tube flat in the ditch, bury the soil in the ditch, press it slightly, and then pour it into the water. In this way, it is done. Remember to bury the bud and bud upward when burying the node. Don't fall down p>
Bamboo shoots can grow in about 25-30 days. If it is a bonsai, it can be put in a basin in the rainy season p>
Key points:
1. Select coarse bamboo for bamboo forest cultivation and fine varieties for pot cultivation p>
2. When sawing the bamboo tube, be careful not to crack it, so as not to hurt the bud p>
3. Watering should be dry and wet p>
4. After burying, it is best to cover it with some bamboo branches or dead grass to block part of the sun p>
Native rooting agent takes root fast and much
The weather is getting warmer and warmer, and it's a good season for cutting again. There are many cutting methods, generally like soil cutting or water cutting. However, their operation methods are different; Coupled with the differences of plant varieties, rooting is easy and difficult, which makes the survival rate different. In order to properly solve this problem, we all like to use naphthylacetic acid and other rooting agents before cutting, which is really effective and the rooting survival rate has been improved. But if the place is remote and the goods are out of stock, what should we do if we can't buy it for a while? Don't worry. I'll introduce some native rooting agents to you. You don't need money to buy them, and the effect is no worse than that of buying them -
Phosphate fertilizer solution
As mentioned above, naphthylacetic acid and other rooting agents are actually a kind of rooting hormone. In fact, phosphate fertilizer solution also has the same effect. Because "phosphorus" can effectively promote the growth and development of plant cells and tissues, and promote plant wound healing and rooting p>
Specific methods: before cutting, dilute the phosphate fertilizer solution with water, with the proportion of water 7 and fertilizer 3, and then immerse the pretreated cuttings (roots) into the fertilizer, with the water part accounting for 1 / 3 of the cuttings. After 2-3 hours, take them out and rinse them with clean water, and then cut them according to the routine p>
General varieties such as camellia, rose, etc. can take root 10-22 days earlier by cutting with this method, with good root development and vigorous growth p>
White sugar liquid
White sugar solution is also a good rooting agent, which has been tested by many people and has obvious effect p>
Specific method: first melt the white sugar with hot water in the proportion of water 9 sugar 1. After the sugar water is cooled, the cut cuttings can be immersed in it. Take it out for about 40-60 minutes, rinse the incision with clean water, cut off part of the incision with a sharp knife, and then cut it according to the routine p>
After the above treatment, the survival rate of plants is much higher than that of general cutting. Even Rhododendron and camellia, which are difficult to root, can reach more than 90% p>
Willow extract
Willow liquid is a good plant growth agent. Its liquid is rich in growth hormone, so it can survive in both forward and backward, and has strong vitality p>
Specific method: take several willow branches and leaves, smash the branches with a hammer, and then immerse them in water. After a day, fish out the branches and leaves, and the water is the willow leaching solution p>
The next day, the cuttings can be immersed for about 1 day (it doesn't matter if it takes a long time. Willow liquid has the component of inhibiting bacterial reproduction) and then cut according to the routine. Hair roots are fast and many, and the plant grows healthily p>
