Soil

Xinyuzhui is a drought tolerant plant. It likes soil with good drainage. If the drainage is poor, it is easy to rot

The cultivation soil can be mixed with 1:1 coarse sand and culture soil, or with 2:1:1 culture soil, vermiculite and coarse sand, or directly with cactus special soil

Temperature

Xinyuzhuo likes the environment with large temperature difference between day and night, and the optimum growth temperature is 10-32 ℃; When the temperature is lower than 4 ℃ or higher than 33 ℃, it will enter dormancy and stop growing; If the temperature drops to close to 0 ℃, it will be frostbitten or frozen to death

Therefore, pay attention to air circulation in summer. Shade should be added at noon to avoid high temperature. When the low temperature is below 5 ℃ in winter, you can move to the place with sunshine indoors to avoid the cold

Humidity

The new jade decoration has certain requirements for humidity. The environment with relative humidity of 40-60% can make it feel comfortable. Usually, it can only pour some water when the soil starts to dry. It should be poured with water every other month or so, subject to the dripping of water from the bottom hole of the flowerpot

Watering

Avoid the blade when watering to avoid the blade rotting due to too long ponding; Pay attention not to accumulate water at the bottom of the basin

Reduce watering during Dormancy and low temperature days in winter. On the contrary, slightly increase the watering times in summer, cool them down, and avoid watering under the strong light at noon

Fertilization

Xinyuzhui should not apply nitrogen fertilizer, because nitrogen fertilizer will make them absorb too much water, so that the stems and leaves become fragile due to storing too much water

Xinyuzhui only needs to be applied with light liquid potassium fertilizer and phosphorus fertilizer once a month (the application of liquid fertilizer is also calculated as watering), and they can grow beautiful
