Cutting propagation method
Generally, the twigs of the current year are used for softwood cutting in late spring and early autumn, or the old twigs are used for cutting in early spring p>
Cutting soil selection
Family cutting can use the special nutrient soil from the flower market or medium coarse river sand. Before cutting, it needs to be washed with clean water for several times p>
However, sea sand and river sand in saline alkali areas should not be used. They are not suitable for the growth of flowers and plants p>
Cutting branch selection
For softwood cutting, when the plant grows vigorously from late spring to early autumn, the thick branches of the current year are selected as heading. After cutting off the branches, select strong parts and cut them into a section 5 ~ 15 cm long, with more than 3 leaf nodes in each section p>
The upper cutting edge should be flat and the lower cutting edge should be oblique. The knife edge should be flat p>
Management of Ficus chinensis after cutting
Temperature
The suitable temperature for rooting is 20 ℃ ~ 30 ℃ p>
If you encounter low temperature, you can wrap the whole flowerpot with film; If it is high temperature, we should pay attention to shading the sun and spray 3 to 5 times a day. p>
Moisture
Aftercutting, the relative humidity of the air must be maintained at 75 to 85%. Spray evaporation is needed to reduce the moisture evaporation of the cuttings. p>
In sunny days, the temperature is higher, and the spraying times are more. In rainy days, the temperature is lower, and the spraying times are less or no p>
Illumination
Cutting propagation is inseparable from sunlight, but strong light will hinder the growth of new branches p>
After cutting, the sunlight must be covered by 50 ~ 80%. After the root system grows, the shading net shall be gradually removed: in sunny days, the shading net shall be removed at 4:00 p.m. every day, and the shading net shall be covered before 9:00 a.m. the next day p>
