Propagation method of golden button: grafting

Grafting is mostly carried out from May to June. Upright columnar cactus such as pear cactus and big flower snake whip column can be used as rootstock. Take 10 cm abnormal stem at the top of golden button as scion, and heal about 50 days after grafting

Through grafting, it can grow into a good hanging plant shape. Flat connection and miter connection can be used. The best grafting time is from May to September. The method is as follows: select the branch of leaf cactus that is not completely lignified, cut it from 2-3cm of the branch, cut it into a conical shape of about 1cm, and insert a young and green gold button base into the sharpened part of the rootstock without binding

After grafting, pay attention to shade and control watering. The humidity is not easy to be too high, otherwise the grafting will fail.
