Sowing and propagation
From September to October, collect mature pods, take out seeds, bury them in dry sand and place them in a cool place for winter p>
Seeds are sown from late March to early April. Seeds are treated before sowing. Seeds are soaked in warm water at 60 ℃, and then soaked for 3 to 5 days. The cold water is replaced once a day. After the seeds absorb water and expand, they are put in an environment of 15 ℃ to promote germination, and drenched with warm water once or twice a day p>
When the seeds are exposed, they can be sown into the seedbed, and the seedlings can be ready in 2 weeks. After emergence, the seedlings can be properly interspersed p>
When the seedlings grow 4 true leaves, they can be transplanted. The best soil for transplantation is loose and fertile loam p>
Ramet propagation
The roots of Bauhinia are easy to produce roots and tillers. Before germination in autumn, October or spring, cut off the tiller seedlings and mother plants with knives and plant them in the prepared matrix, which is easy to survive p>
If the plants are divided in autumn, they should be planted and protected for overwintering. They can be planted in March in spring. Generally, they will bloom the next year p>
Cutting propagation
Cutting propagation is generally carried out in summer during the vigorous growth period of Bauhinia. The young branches of that year are cut off as cuttings and can survive when they are inserted in sandy soil. It is generally suitable for family propagation p>
Strip propagation
Layering propagation can be carried out in the growth period of Bauhinia, but it is best in March and April in spring p>
Select 1-2-year-old branches, cut and peel the bark with a knife for about 1.5cm, expose the xylem, apply rooting powder at about 3cm above the cut part, cover the cut part with a plastic bag after it is dry, fill it with loose garden soil, and tie both ends tightly after watering p>
Check after one month. If the soil is too dry, it can be watered properly, cut and planted after rooting p>
Bush type trees can choose soft branches on the periphery, cut the base, apply rooting powder, and then bury it in the soil. The top can be fixed with bricks and stones, and the top can be supported and righted with wooden sticks p>
Generally, it is divided and planted in March of the second year. If some branches do not take root in that year, they can continue to be buried and pressed, and take root in the second year p>
