Cutting time

Ping An tree can be cut in spring or autumn. The time is generally April, may, September and October. At this time, the temperature can be maintained between 22 ℃ - 28 ℃, which is more suitable for Ping An tree cutting

Cutting matrix

When cutting Ping'an trees, flower pots or nutrient pots are generally selected as cutting containers, and the matrix can be configured by itself. Mix vermiculite and peat as the matrix of cutting. Before cutting, it needs to be disinfected

Cuttings

When cutting, Ping An tree needs to choose the right cuttings. Remove the semi lignified and robust branches of Ping An tree that were born that year, and the leaf color shall be bright

The removed cuttings can be cut into strips of about 15cm. Generally, 2-3 leaves are reserved, and the rest are cut off. The lower part of the cuttings should be cut into an inclined plane

Cutting

Before cutting, the cuttings of Ping An tree can be soaked in the rooting powder solution before cutting. When cutting, pay attention not to be too deep or too shallow, and gently compact it with your fingers. Generally, one plant can be cut in a nutrition bowl. After cutting, it should be watered with water, then covered with plastic bags and placed in a cool place for maintenance

Maintenance

After the cutting of Ping'an tree, the cutting matrix needs to be kept wet. Water can be poured once every 4 days to maintain high humidity. After growing for about 20 days, the plastic bag can be removed

Ping An tree will take root after cutting for about a month. It can be transplanted. The seedlings and matrix can be transplanted into a slightly larger flowerpot, and then normal maintenance can be carried out< span>
