Seed treatment

Harvest the seeds after they are mature in November every year, clean the fleshy seed coat, dry it, and bury it in a leeward dry place with a wet sand layer. It is covered with plastic film. Turn the seeds twice a month in summer and autumn. The seedlings will be sown in March of the next year

Sand storage soil treatment

Slightly acidic sandy soil with good leeward and drainage shall be selected, with gentle slope and deep upper layer. From August to September, weeds will be removed and arranged into a horizontal ladder, with a depth of 20-30cm. In November, shallow raking and some rotten base fertilizer will be applied

Sowing method

In early spring, take out the seeds that have been stored for one year, screen out the seeds with cracks and white, disinfect them in potassium permanganate solution for 10 minutes, rinse them with clean water, dry them, and then evenly sow them in the basin soil. It can be broadcast directly. After sowing, cover the soil so that the seeds cannot be seen. During the seedling stage, shade with some things, and then plant moss to protect the seedlings and protect the seedling bed from the wind and sun. Always keep the soil loose and moist
