Cutting propagation
Cutting time
Dutch iron can be propagated by cutting. Generally, cutting can be carried out in the whole growing season, but spring and autumn are the best cutting time. Cutting propagation can be combined with Dutch iron pruning p>
Select Cymbidium
When cutting Dutch iron, you need to choose a suitable cutting hybrid. Generally, cut about 10cm-30cm branches and dry them in a cool and ventilated place. After the wound of Dutch iron is dry, it can be inserted in clean river sand. Generally, it can take root in about a month p>
Note that the incision should be disinfected and covered with about two-thirds of the sand when inserted on the sand bed p>
Cutting maintenance
After Dutch iron cutting, it needs reasonable maintenance, and the temperature needs to be kept between 20 ℃ - 30 ℃, which is conducive to the growth of roots. In the early stage of cutting, it is necessary to avoid direct sunlight and maintain relatively high air humidity p>
