Sowing and propagation

Mallow generally uses the method of sowing and breeding to reproduce. Sowing and breeding is generally carried out at the beginning of spring or the end of autumn. The seeds of Mallow need special treatment before sowing. We need to bake the seeds gently with fire to burst the shell of the seeds, which can make the water enter the seeds and promote the seeds to germinate. The soil for sowing should not be too sour. When sowing Malva, the soil should be watered thoroughly, and then the seeds of Malva can be evenly sown on the soil. Because the plants of Malva are relatively large, attention should be paid to water and fertilizer management after seed sowing

Cutting propagation

The method of cutting propagation can also be used for mallow. We first select a relatively strong mallow plant, cut a relatively strong branch, about 10 cm, keep the upper part of the leaves and terminal buds, flatten the base of the cut branch, insert it into the prepared fine sand soil, pour appropriate water, and then place it in a shady place. It will take about a month to take root. After rooting, it can be transplanted into the culture soil

Strip pressing method

In addition to the above two methods, you can also use the layering method to propagate the mallow. Properly repair the mallow branches close to the soil, and then bury them in the soil. Wait for a period of time. After the mallow branches buried in the soil take root, you can cut off the secondary mallow branches from the original plants and plant the roots into the prepared soil. In this way, the layering method is completed
