How does Phalaenopsis flower

Temperature control

1. Day and night temperature: the temperature should be controlled day and night. First, the day temperature should be controlled between 26 ℃ and 28 ℃, and the highest temperature should not exceed 32 ℃; The night temperature should be controlled between 20 ℃ and 23 ℃, and the minimum temperature should not be less than 15 ℃.     

2. High temperature treatment: in case of high temperature, pay attention to shading the plant. Do not let the plant direct sunlight, which will damage the growth of the plant, let alone hasten the flower

3. Low temperature treatment: the low temperature should be carried out 4 to 5 months before the flowering period. The daytime temperature should be reduced to 25 ℃ and the night temperature should be reduced to 18 ℃. In this way, the Phalaenopsis will accelerate its growth and begin to grow flower buds. After the flower stalk grows to about 10cm, the low temperature treatment should be stopped immediately, so that the flower induction can be carried out well, and the flowers will open soon, which is healthy and harmless.  

Humidity control

The humidity conducive to the growth of Phalaenopsis should generally be controlled at 60% ~ 80%. If the humidity is too high, it will infect diseases, and if the humidity is too low, it will affect the growth of orchids, so it is necessary to control the humidity balance

The relative humidity can be controlled at 70% during the day and 80% at night, which is conducive to the rapid growth of Phalaenopsis and the effect of flower induction

Light control

The light should not be too strong or too weak in the process of flower induction. Too strong light will cause sunburn

If the light is too weak, it will reduce the photosynthesis of leaves, make the growth of leaves, branches and buds unfavorable, and then affect the flowering

Therefore, the light should be enough. One day, you only need to irradiate the sun in the morning and afternoon, and you can put it in a warm and dark place for the rest of the time
