Watering and curing

Fei flower jade is a kind of growth environment that requires drying. There can be no water in the basin soil for fear of waterlogging. Generally, as long as the basin soil is "dry and wet"

After winter, watering must be prohibited to keep the basin soil dry, so as to promote the plant to enter the state of dormancy

This can protect the plant from cold and freezing due to active growth, so don't water it in winter

Temperature management

As long as the growth temperature of Fei flower jade is not lower than 2 ℃ - 5 ℃, it can survive the winter safely

However, when the temperature in winter is the lowest, in order to prevent the plant from freezing injury, the plant can be covered with plastic film for thermal insulation

The best way to keep warm is to wrap the whole plant with cotton or straw and store it in a wooden box, so that it is safe for winter

Pot moving curing

After winter, if the space at home does not meet the growth of the plant, you can pour out the soil in the plant pot after the pot soil is dry, and then wrap the bare roots with cotton straw for heat preservation and antifreeze, and then store them in the box or cabinet, so as to facilitate the space and protect the plant from cold and freezing

When the temperature rises, the package on the plant can be removed, and then the plant can be put back into the basin and cured in a dry place indoors, so that it can gradually contact the sun and return to normal maintenance

It should also be noted that when spring comes, do not rush to put it outdoors for maintenance, because the temperature is not stable. Wait until it is warm and stable, and then take it out indoors for outdoor maintenance
