Soil selection

Cutting steps of qianteng

Branch selection

For robust twigs, cut several segments with at least 4-6 leaves to ensure the nutrient supply when the plant has not yet taken root. The incision shall be neat. The irregular incision is easy to be infected by bacteria or fungi. It shall be dried in a cool place

Upper basin

Spread the pruned branches on the soil surface. If there is air rooting on the branches, directly bury the air rooting into the soil, which can improve the survival rate of cutting

Grow

Qianteng is a semi shade plant, and the branches just cutted have not yet grown roots and cannot absorb water independently. At this stage, the most important thing is to keep water, so it should be placed in a place with backlight or scattered light to wait for its long roots. Also pay attention to spraying water on the blades to maintain a humid environment
