Breeding methods and classification of Jacaranda

There are generally three propagation methods of Jacaranda: sowing propagation, cutting propagation and tissue culture propagation

Cutting propagation:

The Cuttage Propagation of Jacaranda is mainly distributed in spring and autumn every year. During Cuttage Propagation, we should choose the thick paper strip of Jacaranda as the cuttage, which will improve the survival rate of Jacaranda

Sowing and reproduction:

The fruits of Jacaranda are mainly ripe in November every year. After picking the fruits, pay attention to exposing them in a windless place, and store them after the seeds are dried. The suitable sowing time of Jacaranda is about March every year

Tissue culture propagation:

The tissue culture propagation of Jacaranda is relatively easy. In some scientific research institutions in China, a large number of test tube seedlings of Jacaranda have been cultivated by tissue culture
