Disinfection treatment

Before sowing, the seeds of goldfish grass and its culture medium should be disinfected. Soak the seeds of goldfish grass in potassium permanganate solution with a concentration of about 0.5% for 1-2 hours. Sowing method

The seeds of goldfish grass are relatively small. Before sowing, apply base fertilizer in the basin first, and then sprinkle the seeds. Generally, about 200 seeds can be sown in each hole plate, and one seed can be placed in each hole. After sowing, gently press with your hand to bond the seeds with the medium, spray water, and finally cover with newspaper or plastic film. There is no need to cover the soil for sowing. Then wait about 7-10 days to excavate

Curing after sowing

Goldfish grass is a light loving plant for germination. The appropriate germination temperature is between 20-22 ℃, and it needs to be given an appropriate amount of light, but pay attention to avoid direct sunlight, keep the medium moist, and keep the newspaper moist for a long time until the seeds germinate, and then open the newspaper. Generally, it can germinate in 7-15 days. After germination, the seedlings need to be moved to an environment with a temperature of 16-18 ℃

After 5-7 weeks of growth, goldfish grass seedlings can directly go up to a basin of 7-8 cm. Goldfish grass likes light. It is a long sunshine plant. The sunshine time of more than 12 hours is more conducive to the differentiation of flower buds.
