Cutting season
The most suitable cutting time of Hibiscus is spring. Of course, cutting can be carried out in other seasons. As long as there is a suitable environment, the general temperature is about 25 ℃ p>
Cutting method
Branch selection
Select the mother plant with strong growth and no diseases and pests, and cut the branches around the plant as cuttings. Do not cut the old branches. The semi lignified branches with vigorous growth and good development in that year are the most suitable. In addition, cuttings need to be cut and inserted at the same time, otherwise they are easy to lose water and wilt. Then cut it into small segments of 10-15cm, leave two leaflets and full buds for each cuttings, cut the lower incision into a horseshoe shape, and the shear opening can be near the bud. The upper incision is cut flush, and the shear opening is about 1cm away from the lateral bud. When the cuttings are made, they can be cut p>
Cutting medium
It is best to choose nutrient soil and peat soil with loose air permeability and good drainage performance, or pure sand and other media. When cutting, you can cut more branches, so that even if the survival rate is not high, there will always be survivors p>
Moisturizing management
In order to ensure the survival rate of cutting, we must maintain humidity and not be too dry. There are many moisturizing methods. You can use seedling box or cover it with film. Generally, you can take root two or three weeks after cutting p>
