Grafting time of golden marbles
Early May is the best time for golden marbles to be grafted p>
Grafting skills of golden marbles
Here, the potted golden marble pile is introduced as an example p>
Generally, 3-5 strong branches need to be reserved for the golden marble pile, and the branches that do not need to be grafted should be cut off from the base. The strength of the reserved branches needs to be reduced appropriately, and the base should be reserved for about 5cm. Then use a sharp cutting knife to cut longitudinally along the center of the cross section. The cutting depth is about 2 cm. Be careful not to be too deep p>
Then, on the female plants that have reached the age of fruit bearing, cut the strong branches. The thickness can refer to the grafted rootstock branches. It's almost OK. The length with terminal buds is about 5cm, and it's better to have 4-5 axillary buds, which has a high success rate. Then use the sterilized blade to cut off the cortex on both sides of the base of the scion. The cutting surface is about 2 cm long, which is basically the same as the cutting depth of the rootstock, and can be cut to slightly expose the xylem. Then insert the wedge-shaped end of the cut scion base into the notch of the Rootstock to align the cambium on at least one side, and then bind the anvil scion joint with the binding belt p>
Finally, put on the plastic bag, cover the whole scion (including the joint of rootstock and scion) and tie the plastic bag tightly. As long as a little attention is paid to the later management and care, the grafting is basically successful. Of course, patience is essential in the grafting process< span>
