Cultivation steps

Select two lotus nodes with buds as lotus seeds, and the lotus buds can be stained with plant ash to play the role of sterilization and disinfection p>
Bury the lotus root in the soil for about 2 cm, and then add water to fully soak the basin soil p>
Maintenance points of potted lotus root
Moisture requirements
Germination and growth period: before the first leaf of lotus root appears, keep 4 to 7cm shallow water to promote lotus root germination p>
Peak growth period: when the stems and leaves of lotus root grow vigorously, a large number of lotus leaves appear. During this period, the depth of the water layer remains about 12 to 15cm p>
Lotus root stage: the lotus root no longer grows new leaves, indicating the beginning of lotus root. At this time, the water layer drops to about 4-7cm p>
Nutrient requirements
After lotus root grows leaves, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer can be applied every half a month to promote growth. During the lotus bud period, potassium phosphate fertilizer or rotten cake water fertilizer should be applied to make the flowers big and full p>
Light temperature requirements
The suitable growth temperature of lotus is 25-35 degrees Celsius. Ensure at least 6 hours of light every day. Do not put it in the shade for maintenance, otherwise the lotus is easy to grow in vain and difficult to bloom< span>
