Alum root, also known as coral bell, is a plant belonging to alum root of Saxifragae. It has gorgeous leaves, provocative style and long flowering period. Operation steps of alum root leaf insert
1. Peat soil, perlite and vermiculite are prepared into cutting culture soil in the ratio of 1:1:1. Perlite can increase the permeability of soil, while vermiculite has good water retention p>
2. Select the healthy leaves at the bottom of the larger plant and pick them slowly. Whether the leaves are healthy or not is the key to survival in the future, so we should pay attention to the following aspects in the selection of leaves:
①. Select complete blades, and incomplete blades cannot be selected p>
②. If the leaves are complete and have not been sunburned, the sunburned leaves cannot be used p>
③ Select the one with basically complete petiole and healthy leaves. No. 3, 4 and 5 in the figure below can be used for cutting p>
3. Make a hole in the bottom of the transparent plastic water cup and put on the gauze (paper shell can also be used instead) p>
4. Mix vermiculite and perlite in the ratio of 2:1 and put them into the cup. You don't have to fill it up to half of the cup p>
5. Put 3-5 blades into the cup, not too much p>
6. Add medium to the cup and fill it up p>
7. Spray the soil wet with a watering can, put the cup in a container with water, and put it in a warm and ventilated place without the sun. It will take root in about a month. Be careful not to pull it out frequently p>
8. When the roots grow almost the same, they can be planted in pots p>
