Propagation mode of arrowhead taro
There are two ways of propagation of arrowhead taro: ramet propagation and cutting propagation p>
Ramet propagation
Ramet propagation is more common for arrowhead. Cutting propagation is less than ramet propagation. The best propagation temperature of arrow feather bamboo taro is about 20 ℃. If ramet propagation is carried out indoors and the temperature and humidity are well controlled, ramet propagation can be carried out throughout the year. What are the steps of ramet propagation? First of all, we should cut the root blocks with stems, leaves and buds with a knife. For family planting, we can directly plant the cut root blocks. We must pay attention to the maintenance of planting temperature and humidity during ramet reproduction.
Cutting propagation
Cutting propagation is also a kind of propagation mode of arrow feather bamboo taro. Although it is not used as much as branch propagation, it is also an important propagation method of arrow feather bamboo taro. Cutting propagation generally uses the tender shoot at the top of the plant as the cuttings, and the length of the cuttings is about 10 cm to 16 cm. And according to the actual size of the blade, keep the blade, about half of the blade. The cuttings shall be treated with Nai acetic acid first. After the treatment, the cuttings shall be inserted into the seedbed, and the row spacing shall be maintained. After planting, the cuttings shall be covered with film. The management method of cutting propagation is the same as that of ramet propagation. The best temperature for cutting propagation is 20 ℃, and the cuttings will take root about 40 days after cutting.
