Breeding method
Environment
There are two kinds of indoor and outdoor environments for cultivating honeysuckle. In winter, the flowers are generally placed indoors. If they are outdoors, it is best to plant them on the mud ground. The planting site should be wider, preferably well ventilated, cool and dark. Avoid direct drying and evening drying of flowers p>
Soil
Honeysuckle likes acidic soil with loose soil, good drainage, permeability and humus. The pH is generally the best between 5.0 and 6.0. Remember not to use alkaline soil and clay, which are difficult for plants to feed p>
Flowerpot
Purple sand pots or mud pots are recommended for flower pots. The water permeability and ventilation of mud pots are relatively good and suitable for maintenance. Purple sand basin is very delicate, fine texture, beautiful and elegant, which can be better viewed p>
Water and fertilizer
Honeysuckle is more suitable to be watered with rainwater, pond or river water can also be used, but if not, it is best to put tap water for a day or two before using. Before use, add 0.2% ferrous sulfate, and basically pour water once every 7 to 10 days. Water more during flowering. Watering is best done at noon on a sunny day p>
Pruning
Honeysuckle usually cuts off the branches and leaves that are too long or sick and damaged after flowering p>
Precautions
The remaining flowers must be cut off after the honeysuckle blooms, so as not to make the flowers bear fruit and consume nutrition. Flowers are best placed on the balcony in the southeast. Try not to move frequently and pay attention to ventilation. Avoid direct sunlight in summer and pay attention not to water too much p>
