2. Cut off the bare branches

Bare branches are of no great use. Staying on them will only consume nutrition, so they should be removed. Just leave 3 ~ 5 blades at the bottom~

3. Dry branches

After a summer, some branches of the rose dried up due to the sun exposure. This kind of branches should be cut off and left on it without any effect, which will also affect the viewing degree

4. Lateral branch truncation

Don't move the main branch of the rose. The lateral branches can keep 2 ~ 3 bud points, and cut off other places. It is mainly to renew branches and promote new branch germination~

5. Fujimoto rose

Rattan roses should be cut gently. Cut half of the branches that have bloomed this year

6. Miniature Rose

Seedlings that have been cultivated for more than 1 year can be cut in the middle, and all technical strips can be shortened by half

One third of the height of the newly born miniature rose can be removed

Clematis

Generally, Clematis will undergo an overhaul before and after the beginning of autumn. First, it can update its branches and second, it can prepare for the next autumn flowers

1. Series F and class III

Representative species of F series: large flower clematis, green jade, magic purple, pistachios, mint, cassis, chameleon, gale, etc

Three representative categories: Red bourbon, Oriental morningsong, blue Polish spirit, super jack, purple cloud, pink dream, Countess and so on

This series can be re cut before and after the beginning of autumn

That is, leave 3 ~ 7 knots at the bottom of Clematis

Note:

If you are growing new branches and have flower buds, don't trim them~

However, there are few autumn flowers in the avenue series, so it is not suitable for re cutting~

2. Class II

Class II representative varieties: Ahua, Akashi, Andromeda (Andromeda), Anglia (Angelica), Arctic queen, Aisha, Baltic Sea, Barbara, Barbara Deborah, celebration (bee love), wojin beauty, Betty riston, jewelry (beer), Blu ray, Myanmar star, kanabi, chalcedony, crystal fountain, etc

It's best not to cut the seedlings (cuttings last year), because the seedling root system is not strong and requires leaf photosynthesis to provide nutrients

Large seedlings (cuttings from the previous year and before) can be re cut, leaving three branches

After pruning for half a month, it sprouts and strips

About a month later, there will be flower buds~

When October comes, it will bloom ~

3. Precautions after trimming

1. Don't apply fertilizer immediately after pruning. It's easy to burn roots

2. Pay attention to the weather forecast. If the temperature difference between day and night exceeds 10 degrees, the minimum temperature is lower than 25 degrees, and the branches sprout and shoot, you can start topdressing

If you don't use liquid fertilizer or self-made liquid fertilizer for about 10 days, you can use it alternately

4. Regional differences

Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai regions can refer to the above pruning methods

The northern region can be heavily sheared one month earlier than Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai. If you are worried that the temperature is too hot, you can directly not heavily sheared, but light sheared

Because it is early in winter in the north, the branches of class II varieties have no time to grow and bear fruit, which may not be able to resist the low temperature in the north. Three kinds of varieties are cold before they have time to open autumn flowers. Cutting them off is a waste of nutrients

In warm areas close to the south, such as Guangdong and Guangxi, it can be cut one month later. The specific pruning method is the same as above

5. Pay attention to details

① It's best not to cut it in rainy days, and pay attention to watering Clematis just after pruning, because there are fewer branches, the evaporation effect is weakened, and watering too much is easy to rot roots

② Too many autumn flowers may affect the amount of flowers in the coming year. If there are too many flower buds in class II varieties in autumn, you can pinch off some of them

③ Prune the whole plant at the same time. You can leave 3 knots for one branch and 5 knots for one branch, but you can't cut half and leave half. Otherwise, the pruned branches will not sprout~

④ Don't trim when you don't know whether to trim or not
