Propagation method of Zhiying

There are three kinds of propagation methods: cutting, branching and seed propagation

Cutting propagation

It is suggested that the time for cutting propagation of Zhiying should be from May to July in summer. Select semi lignified robust plants and branches with appropriate length as cuttings. Cutting cuttings in vermiculite or river sand

Ramet propagation

The most suitable time for ramet propagation is spring and autumn. Separate the plants with intertwined roots, and then transplant them. After implantation, it is necessary to pour root fixing water once, and then pour water once after about three or four days, and loosen the soil

Seed reproduction

Before sowing, the soil shall be disinfected. Potassium permanganate can be diluted and sprayed on the seedbed, and then watered. After the water is sufficient, the seeds shall be evenly sown on the seedbed. Catalytic treatment of seeds is recommended. After that, it is covered with sand and plastic film, and the seeds can germinate in about a week
