When breeding Phalaenopsis, when it needs watering depends on our judgment. If we think the plant is short of water, we can usually water it p>
1、 Observation method
For Phalaenopsis cultivated with water moss, the judgment of watering generally follows four points: looking, weighing, touching and pressing p>
Look, that is to look at the water moss, including the color of the water moss. If the color becomes lighter, it indicates that the water content is low. Look at the root system. Generally, if the root system turns white, it needs watering. Also, look at the flowerpot to see if there is water vapor on the side wall of the flowerpot. If there is no water vapor, it also needs watering p>
Weighing is to weigh the flowerpot and see the weight of the flowerpot. If the flowerpot is significantly lighter, water it p>
Touching means touching the bottom of the flowerpot to see if the water table here is dry. If it is dry, it needs watering p>
Pressure, pressure is mainly to press the water moss to see the elasticity of the water moss to judge whether it is necessary to water p>
2、 Toothpick method
Insert a toothpick into the soil and pull it out to see if it is dry or wet. Generally, insert the toothpick into the soil for about 10 minutes. When you find that the toothpick is a little wet but not very wet, you can water it. Don't wait until the toothpick is not wet at all and dry, it's too dry and not very good p>
