1、 Batten
The use of toilet paper for high-altitude layering can promote the growth of flower roots, such as gardenia, rose and osmanthus. Let's talk about the specific usage of toilet paper p>
1. Prepare toilet paper commonly used in life, fold it in half and fold it into small pieces p>
2. Peel off the epidermis of the flower branches used to press the strips, and the width is about one centimeter p>
3. Prepare some rooting powder and cotton swab, dissolve the rooting powder with a little water, dip the cotton swab in rooting solution and apply it to the peeling place p>
4. Wrap the peeling place of flower branches with toilet paper, spray water to the binding place with a watering can, and fully soak the toilet paper. Prepare fresh-keeping film or plastic bag, wrap the toilet paper, and wrap it with string or cloth. Don't tie it too tightly.
5. Find some newspapers and put another layer of plastic wrap on them. Or wrap the flower branches with some black cloth or something that can block the light to speed up the growth of the root system of the flower branches p>
6. Spray water on the flower branches every three or four days and wait for a month to find that the roots of the flower branches grow out.
7. At this time, the rooted flower branches should be cut off with a detoxified art knife and inserted directly into the culture soil. Put the flowerpot in a cool place, keep it ventilated, wait for a week, and then you can maintain it as usual.
2、 Soilless cutting
Friends who have been cutting know that the key and most troublesome point of cutting is to confirm whether the cuttings grow roots. Some people may pull the cuttings out of the culture soil, but this practice is not advocated. Huahua can understand your eagerness to take root in cuttings, but this practice will backfire and may block the growth and development of cuttings roots. What should we do? Huahua shares with you a method of soilless cutting. Interested friends can have a try.
When cutting, we sometimes have no way to judge whether it takes root. We can only take the branches out of the soil continuously, which leads to the cutting not taking root. Today Huahua will teach you a soilless cutting method p>
1. Prepare daily paper towels, cuttings and plastic bottles (the bottle cap is perforated for ventilation) p>
2. Wrap the lower part of the cuttings with paper towels, but be careful not to be too tight. There is room for the extension and growth of cuttings roots. Wet the paper towel with a spray can.
3. Wrap the other parts of the cuttings with a paper towel, and the bud eyes need to be exposed to facilitate germination.
4. Put the cuttings in a plastic bottle, take it to a cool place and keep it ventilated. Spray water into the plastic bottle every few days to keep the cuttings moist.
5. Basically, in ten days, the cuttings will grow roots, and then go to the pot. The reason for the fast rooting speed is to ensure high air humidity.
3、 Rootless grafting
The paper towel is relatively clean and sanitary, and has superior moisturizing performance. The plant is not easy to be infected with bacteria. Therefore, using paper towels for grafting, the rooting speed and survival rate of plants have been greatly improved p>
1. Select more robust branches and prepare sterilized art knife, transparent tape, fresh-keeping box and daily paper towel p>
2. Embed the branches and wrap both ends of the branches with wet paper towels p>
3. Put seven or eight layers of paper towels on the bottom of the fresh-keeping box as a paper bed, spray water with a watering can to wet the paper bed, and put the grafted branches on the paper bed with the bud eyes facing upward and arranged neatly p>
4. Cover it and put it in the dark for a week, so that the healing tissue of the wound and the healing tissue at both ends of the branch can grow quickly. Observe the healing of budding after about a week. If the healing is good, you can put it in the astigmatism and wait for rooting. After about two months, the roots grow p>
