How to water in winter
Phalaenopsis is a typical epiphytic orchid. If it is planted in a pot, it has high requirements for air humidity, but it can not produce ponding in the soil. Otherwise, it is likely to cause the plant to rot or even die because of ponding. Generally, it's good to water once a week after winter. It is suggested that the watering time should be from 10:00 to 11:00 in the morning. If the weather is too cold, it is best to water less. Basically, we should keep the soil a little dry p>
In winter, Phalaenopsis is best placed in an environment with a temperature higher than 10 degrees and appropriate light. If you want to spray water on leaves, you should spray them, so that you can avoid water accumulation in the leaves. The spray time can be at noon time, the water temperature is also required, preferably with the temperature. In this way, the water can be dried in one afternoon, so that the plants can spend the winter safely p>
Precautions
If more water is sprayed in winter, rotten roots may occur. So if we spray water on the leaves and there is still a lot of water in the leaves, we should use clean paper towels or absorbent rags to absorb the water on the leaves, so as to avoid the occurrence of rotten roots p>
