Longevity flower
If you want to enjoy clusters of blooming and all kinds of longevity flowers in the new year, you should cut them now. If you don't hurry, it will be late if the weather is cold p>
Cutting method:
1. Cut off the healthy branches of Changshou flower, 5-10cm is OK, cut obliquely at the bottom, and put them in a place with astigmatism and ventilation for 30 minutes to 1 hour p>
2. Take a bottle of clean tap water. The water level should not be too high. Insert the branches into the mouth of the bottle and let the water touch a little water, or do not touch the water and get a little moisture. It is easy to grow
If you want large-scale hydroponic cutting, you can also find a large cylinder and circle it like the figure below p>
3. Put the hydroponic device in a cool and ventilated place for about a week, and the root system of Changshou flower will grow p>
4. After the long-lived branches have roots, they can be transplanted into the pot soil, watered and placed in a place with astigmatism and ventilation. After the slow seedlings are successful, they can be gradually exposed to the sun p>
Chrysanthemum
This month is the last time for chrysanthemum cutting. No matter how late it is, it won't bloom. Now insert a few branches to enjoy the flowers during the new year. The red and yellow ones at home... Big ones are open and magnificent, not to mention how beautiful they are p>
Cutting method:
1. Cut off healthy chrysanthemum branches. The length of each branch is about 12-18 cm, and leave about 4 leaves in each section p>
2. Cut the lower end of the branch obliquely into horseshoe shape, and remove 2-3 leaves at the lower end, leaving only one leaf at the top. If you cut the top branches, you only need to remove the lower leaves p>
3. Soak the treated branches in carbendazim solution for 30-40 minutes and disinfect them, which can improve the survival rate. There is no carbendazim, so this step can also be omitted p>
4. Prepare clean, loose and nutritious soil, put the soil into the flower pot, smooth the surface, and insert 6-8 cm holes on the soil surface with chopsticks. The spacing between the holes should not be too close p>
5. Put the chrysanthemum in a cool place, and then spray it into the hole with your hands. Put it in a slightly ventilated place p>
6. Generally, after 7-15 days, after the branch takes root, it can be slowly exposed to the sun for about 3 hours in the afternoon. Pay attention not to be exposed to the sun. Keep it dry and do not water. It is easy to grow in vain if you water too much p>
7. You can fertilize chrysanthemums in about October. Just sprinkle a few grains of compound fertilizer. Chrysanthemums with large flowers can fix the plant with a small stick, leaving only one bud at the top. Chrysanthemums with small flowers do not need sparse buds p>
Geranium
It is difficult to spend summer in Tianzhu, but it is easy to overwinter, so cutting or sowing in autumn is a good choice. The cutting method is similar to the steps of chrysanthemum and longevity flower. Flowers and flowers will not be repeated here, but we will focus on sowing p>
Seeding steps
1. For Geranium sowing, you can choose to use seedling block, which is more convenient. Put it in the seedling box containing water in advance to soak hair p>
2. Put the geranium seeds on the seedling block, one seed and one seedling block. After the seeds are put, cover the surface with a layer of fine soil of about 0.3cm p>
3. After sowing, cover a black plastic bag above the seedling box to keep the soil moist and not too wet. It will germinate in about 5-10 days p>
4. After the seeds germinate, the bag can be removed and exposed to light, which can prevent overgrowth. It's OK not to water until the seedlings grow 4-5 leaves, and the geranium can be planted in the basin p>
5. After planting slow seedlings, compound fertilizer can be applied gradually, and the compound fertilizer particles melt with water and irrigate the roots. Once a week, dilute it p>
6. When the geranium is young, you can start picking its heart, so that it will bloom more in the future p>
Stars in the sky
It's also difficult to spend summer with stars all over the sky, so the best sowing time is the end of August or September. Move indoors in winter for maintenance, and you can enjoy flowers in spring p>
Seeding steps
1. Before sowing, prepare clean soil free of bacteria, loose and breathable, and the soil can be heated and disinfected in the microwave oven in advance p>
2. Put the soil into the flowerpot, put a small basin containing water at the bottom, let the water pass through the permeable hole at the bottom of the flowerpot, and soak the soil until the soil is completely wet p>
3. Dip the toothpick in water and put the seeds on the soil one by one, or sprinkle the seeds on the paper and fold the paper in half on the soil. This requires high skills p>
4. After sowing, prepare some fine soil and gently sprinkle it on the seeds, which should not be too thick or more than 0.3cm p>
5. Cover the flowerpot with a layer of plastic wrap and tie it tightly with a rubber band. Pierce a few holes on the plastic wrap with a needle for ventilation. Just put it in a place with astigmatism and ventilation. Don't direct sunlight p>
6. Keep the soil slightly moist, germinate in 1-2 weeks, and gradually bask in the sun after germination p>
7. After that, you can slowly fertilize and top it, and it will grow into a big flower ball next year p>
