2. Cut off the long branches. Some branches grow very fast. Leaving them on them will waste nutrition, so they should be cut off

3. Cut off the overlapping and parallel branches. If the branches overlap, it will affect the daylighting of other branches

Fertilization

Jasmine likes big fertilizer, especially when it blooms. Therefore, apply fertilizer once every 7 days. The fertilizer can be bean cake, rapeseed cake and so on. Huahua usually uses bean cakes~

Smash the bean cake and rapeseed cake, put them into plastic bottles, expose them to the sun, and ferment them in about 2 ~ 3 months, and then mix the fertilizer and water in the proportion of 1:50

At the same time, because Jasmine likes slightly acidic soil, if there are conditions at home, alum fertilizer water can be used. The configuration method is ferrous sulfate: cake fertilizer: fecal dry: water = 1:5:3:100

If you can't make alum fertilizer water, pour 1 ~ 2 drops of vinegar into the water every time you water, or mix ferrous sulfate in the ratio of 1:1000 for root irrigation

Huahua is lazy, so it's usually vinegar

Cutting

Flowering branches are very suitable for cutting, because these branches are very rich in nutrients, high cell activity and fast rooting~

1. Choose some stronger branches from the cut branches

2. The cuttings should have at least three sections, and then remove the leaves below, leaving only a pair of leaves. At the same time, in order to reduce evaporation, cut half of the leaves left

Moreover, the distance between the shear and the node should be about 1.5cm, which is easy to take root. Flowers have been marked in the following picture. Just look at 1 in the figure below

3. Prepare clean perlite or vermiculite, river sand can be used

4. Disinfect the branches with Carbendazim and dry them in the shade

5. Wet the vermiculite in the flowerpot, and then insert the branches

6, spray on the leaves, then put them into the bucket, cover them, and the water droplets are not easy to dry. It is easier to survive. But remember, ventilation is done every day. Otherwise, it will suffocate. p>

7. Generally, cutting can take root in about half a month, but at this time, the root system is still relatively fragile. You can wait about half a month to make the root system grow stronger before transplanting

Other points for attention

1. More sun exposure is very important. The better the sun, the more fragrant the flowers will bloom

2. Water more. Jasmine likes a humid environment. Therefore, watering must keep up. You have to water once in about 3 ~ 5 days

What if Jasmine leaves turn yellow

1. When watering, add vinegar or ferrous sulfate. The yellowing may be due to the alkaline soil

2. Due to insufficient light, Jasmine has a high demand for light. If jasmine is placed in a dark place for a long time, it is easy to yellow leaves, so we must put Jasmine outside

What about the rotten roots of Jasmine

1. First remove the jasmine from the basin and clean up the soil on it

2. Use a sterilized knife to cut off all the rotten and blackened parts of the jasmine root system. Note that you'd rather cut off a little more than leave a little black

3. The soil ratio can be 4 parts of pastoral soil, 4 parts of compost, 2 parts of river sand or rice bran ash, plus fully decomposed dry cake powder, chicken and duck dung, which can be mixed and stirred evenly. At the same time, ceramic grains and the like should be filled at the bottom of the flowerpot to avoid ponding
