1、 Control of watering amount
Capsicum still has little demand for water. Too much water is easy to rot. Therefore, the amount of watering is controlled according to the soil. It starts watering only when the soil is slightly dry, and it is watered thoroughly at one time. At ordinary times, the soil in the basin should be kept dry. The most suitable soil is with good air permeability, and the softer soil is easier to take root. Each time, the soil should be watered thoroughly after it is slightly dry. It is not enough to wet the soil on it. It should be watered until the water flows out from the bottom of the basin p>
2、 Control of watering frequency
Pepper wood likes soil with humidity between 50% and 70%, so watering should not be too frequent. Watering once every 3 to 5 days is the most appropriate. Spring, summer and autumn are the fastest growing seasons of pepper trees, so they need more water. Therefore, it needs to be watered once every 2-3 days, and enough water should be poured every time, but there should be no ponding in the basin. In winter, they may sleep. At this time, the watering frequency can't be the same as before. Try to reduce the frequency or even don't water. Just make sure the soil in the basin is not too dry p>
3、 How to distinguish whether there is water shortage
Pepper wood likes warm temperature and even high temperature environment very much. The most suitable temperature for growth is between 20 and 30 degrees. Except in winter, it is the rapid growth period of pepper wood, so the most suitable soil should be a little wet to the touch. When the soil is a little dry, it should be watered at one time. If there is a tray at the bottom of the basin, be sure to pour the water in the tray after watering for 10 minutes to avoid root rot. If the connection of pepper leaves is extremely fragile, a large number of leaves fall or the leaves turn yellow, it is that the frequency of watering is too high, and there is too much water to absorb. It's best to replace it with a new pot and soil in order to germinate new buds, or trim it well and shorten the stem so that it can grow again p>
