1、 Seed collection and treatment
In the first ten days of May every year, the fruit epidermis of poisonous arrow wood begins to turn red or even purple black, and a large number of fruits begin to fall off. This is the best time to collect seeds. Generally, the age of poisonous arrow wood that can bear fruit is about 100 years, and its trunk will be very tall. It will be difficult to climb up the tree to collect fruit, so it needs to wait until the fruit falls naturally. The collected fruits must be cleaned, and then the peel must be removed to get an egg shaped poisonous arrow seeds inside. Next, put them in water, take out the full seeds and dry them, waiting for the next sowing p>
2、 Sow
According to the germination characteristics of Curcuma seeds, if you want to improve the germination rate, it is generally recommended to sow in time after picking, which can be sown on demand or trenched. The spacing between seeds is 3cm × 10cm. Generally, 250 seeds are sown in a square soil. After the seeds are sown, they should be covered with 2cm soil layer, and then covered with straw. Pay attention to watering and keep the soil moist. Under normal circumstances, the seeds will begin to germinate in 25 to 30 days, reach the peak of seed germination in 40 days, and generally all the seeds will germinate in 55 days p>
3、 Seedling management
One month after the small surface is drilled out of the land, some livestock manure with low concentration or 0.1% compound water and fertilizer can be applied. When four or five leaves grow, they can be transplanted into the nutrition bag for cultivation. The matrix in the nutrition bag is generally 20% burnt soil and 80% sandy soil. The transplantation time is in cloudy and rainy days or in the afternoon. Pay attention to shading. Fertilizer can be applied one month after transplantation, and the concentration needs to be diluted first and then concentrated. Some potassium fertilizer can be added in August and September, which is conducive to the safe winter of seedlings p>
4、 Colonization
Generally, the two-year-old nutrition bag seedlings are selected for colonization. The seedlings must be sorted and picked up one month before colonization, and then colonization can be carried out after the seedlings grow stably. When planting, you should pay attention not to hurt the root of poisonous arrow wood, and you must cover it with shade. Weeds must be removed from the soil to ensure that the soil is loose and moist, but there can be no ponding. Poisonous arrow wood cannot be flooded p>
