1、 Cutting time
The cutting time is generally selected in early December, and the stout and hard branches with the best development are selected, but for new branches, it is generally carried out in June and July. But if people can control the temperature well, they can cut all year round p>
2、 Cutting method
Branch selection
Select new branches or mature and healthy old branches, and cut the length of 12 cm to 15 cm in the middle of the branches. There should be three or four buds and two leaves on the branches, and other leaves can be removed p>
Disinfection
For the selected branches, the incision must be disinfected first, and then stained with some plant ash to prevent decay. After treatment, cutting is needed immediately to prevent the branches from wilting p>
Temperature control
The branches to be cutted shall be inserted into two-thirds of the soil and placed in a cool place. The temperature shall be controlled between 20 ℃ and 25 ℃, which is conducive to rooting. If the temperature is too low, the rooting will be very slow. If the temperature is too high, the cuttings will rot, so it is generally necessary to artificially control the temperature p>
Moisturizing
After cutting, we also need to pay attention to ensure the humidity of the culture soil. We need to spray water once or twice a day. We can't be too dry or too wet. In addition, pay attention to the ventilation of the environment. Under normal circumstances, in a month and a half, it will take root and sprout, and then it can be transplanted and planted p>
3、 Curing after cutting
Magnolia especially likes warm climate. The environment must be sunny and humid. It can withstand severe cold and semi cool climate conditions, but it can't be flooded. The requirement for soil is not high, but it grows fastest and best in deep, fertile and well drained soil p>
