Preparation of soil
The best growing soil for white birds requires neutral or slightly acidic acidity. The texture of the soil should be loose and rich in organic calcium. At the same time, it shall not contain a large amount of fine dust, mild fertility, no burning of roots, and no immature organic matter. Generally, the most common one-to-one method of peat soil and perlite can be used. For young plants and white birds that have just separated, peat soil should be softer, which is easy for new plants to take root; For adult plants older than 2 years, the proportion of sand and particles shall be slightly increased in the soil preparation method, and the proportion of peat soil to sand and particles shall be one to one p>
Preparation of fertilizer
The fertilization of white birds is generally carried out in spring and autumn. Fertilization is not allowed in summer because of high temperature and humidity, and it is not suitable for large-scale fertilization in winter. Just keep the soil dry. We must master the concentration of fertilizer and adhere to the principle of prefer light to thick. We would rather dilute the concentration of fertilizer and apply it more times than take the risk of applying concentrated fertilizer at one time. Take the oil meal cake as an example. The concentration can be prepared in this way. First crush the oil meal cake, then add 8 to 10 times of water, take the upper layer of clear night after full fermentation, and then dilute it 20 to 30 times before use. Other organic fertilizers include animal manure, and chemical fertilizers such as urea, ammonium sulfate and potassium dihydrogen phosphate can also be applied. In addition, some folk traditional fertilizers, such as leftover soup, milk and soybean milk, should not be used as fertilizer for white birds p>
Method of fertilization
Fertilizer should not be directly applied to the stems and leaves of the plant. After applying fertilizer, it should be sprayed with clean water immediately. The white bird seedlings with new ramets cannot use fertilizer because they need to adapt to the soil within one month. Before applying fertilizer, the basin soil must be dried as much as possible to ensure ventilation and water permeability, so as to prevent hypoxia and necrosis of the root after fertilization. Then take out some that do not grow well and may have problems with the root system, so as to avoid serious diseases and pests. Finally, loosen the soil to ensure that the root system can fully absorb fertilizer and water before applying fertilizer p>
