1. Seed reproduction

Harvest seeds: from September to October every year, we can pick its fruits. When its peel starts to be a little soft, we can take out its seeds, then mix the plant ash in the seeds to wipe off the pulp and dry store it for winter. Or you can hang it in a ventilated place with fruit stalks. Cold bed seedling raising is more suitable to start in early spring. You can insert the tip of the seed into the soil and often spray water to keep the seedling bed moist. When waiting for the seed to sprout, start ventilating it, and then control the temperature to about 22 degrees. After about 10 days, it will begin to be unearthed. If you see the leaves sticking out, you can put them in a basin or plant them separately

Sowing: sowing usually starts in April. Select some fertile soil with good drainage. After opening the hole, apply enough fertilizer, cover the soil, and then start sowing seeds. Cover the rice mud with a thickness of 2 cm, and it will be unearthed in about half a month

2. Rooting reproduction

For reproduction by this method, we should select the female plants that have been growing for 3 to 5 years in the previous year and are relatively strong. We must match the proportion with an appropriate amount of strong male plants. After marking, dig out their tubers before and after the Qingming Festival, select some fresh tubers with a stem diameter of 3 to 6 cm and a white cross-section without disease, and then cut them into small segments of 5 to 6 cm long, Let it dry a little and plant it after the wound heals. When planting, a hole with a depth of 9 cm can be dug every 60 cm on the whole ditch surface. A root section can be placed in each hole, covered with some soil and leveled with your feet. Then cover a little soil to form a small mound. After half a month, remove it or cover it with a layer of plastic film after planting. When the seedlings grow, break the plastic film and take out the seedlings. In this way, the root division method is completed
