1、 Cutting time
The old and new branches of Lingxiao flower can be used for cutting, but there are differences in time. If cutting with old branches is used, it is recommended to carry out it around March every year. If you use new cuttings, you should choose between July and August. In the south, it is more recommended to do it in spring, while in the north, it is best to do it in autumn p>
2、 Processing cuttings
Both old and new branches can be used for cutting. The length of the insert should be controlled between 10-15cm, not too long. It is also necessary to properly trim and cut off the lower leaves, leaving only two or three leaves at the top to reduce water loss p>
3、 Prepare basin soil
When cutting, pure river sand can be selected as the substrate, which can be disinfected before reuse. If there is no river sand, industrial sand mixed with coarse and fine can be used. Using river sand as substrate is more conducive to rooting of cuttings and will not rot roots due to ponding p>
4、 Cutting into soil
After the cuttings are handled and the river sand is prepared, the cuttings can be inserted into the soil. Pay attention to the depth when cutting. Insert one third of the cuttings, not too deep. After inserting, press the surrounding soil tightly, and water it in time p>
5、 Later maintenance
After cutting, it should be maintained in a well ventilated place. In the later stage, pay attention to temperature control and moisturizing. The temperature is about 20 degrees. Water frequently and spray water to wet the substrate. In this way, it will take more than a month to take root p>
