2. Cutting branches: the branches of Zhaocai tree should be selected before cutting. The semi lignified branches of that year can be cut. The length is about 10 cm. The notch at the lower end should be inclined 45 degrees and the notch surface should be smooth. For the treatment of branches, the leaves at the lower end should be cut off, and several leaves at the upper end should be retained. After cutting the branches, you can put them aside to dry

3. Preparation medium: the medium used for cutting should have good air permeability. Heavy viscous medium can not be used. Coarse sand, vermiculite, perlite, etc. can be selected

4. Cutting: first insert several holes in the medium with a wooden stick, then insert the cut branches dipped in rooting powder, cover the medium and gently press and compact it by hand

5. Later management: after cutting, water to keep the medium moist, and then do not produce ponding. Put it in a dark place to promote the rooting of branches as soon as possible
