1、 Ramet propagation
Cut off the place where the main plant of taro is connected with the small branches of root and stem, and then plant them separately. Let them become a separate sharp tail taro. Ramet propagation methods include "whole ramet propagation method" and "half ramet propagation method"
1. Whole ramet propagation
Dig up the main plant in the taro soil together with all the roots, either by hand or with tools (such as scissors). Cut into n secondary taros. Each secondary taro can carry 2-3 branches. Note that there should be roots under the secondary taro, and then they can be planted separately. These divided secondary taros can continue to separate after two or three years p>
2. Semi ramet operation
There is no need to dig up all the main plants of cuspido. Dig the soil around the edge of the main plant of cuspido until you can see the root of cuspido. Directly cut off the secondary plants of cuspido (each secondary plant needs to bring 2-3 branches with roots), and then plant them in other places. In this way, a new cuspido will be born p>
2、 "Bud head" propagation method
What is "bud head"? "Bud head" refers to the tender buds of Taro (buds that do not grow into stems and leaves). You can choose some "bud heads" with relatively large volume. There are "bud eyes" on the "bud heads". The shape of "bud eyes" is spiral, which is the place where there are small pits with buds on the surface of the plant. Directly plant the "bud head" into the soil, and you can grow into a new sharp tail taro p>
Generally speaking, humus soil or rotten leaf soil can also be used for soil selection. Using these two kinds of soils can improve the survival rate of secondary plants, provide more nutrients for secondary plants and accelerate the growth of secondary plants. Winter should be avoided in seasonal selection, and breeding can be carried out in spring, summer and autumn p>
