1、 Seedling stage

For the seedlings just planted in the flowerpot, when the height reaches about 10cm, they need to start pruning, pick the heart in time, and cut off a part above the top, which can promote the growth of side branches next to them. When these lateral branches grow to a certain height, the top branch above the lateral branches can be cut off, so as to promote the fullness and prosperity of the whole plant. After the seedlings grow gradually and grow 4-5 branches, the excessively long branches can be cut short

2、 After adulthood

For the adult tiger thorn plum, it is mainly to deal with the branches and cut off the bare branches, pest branches and thin branches on the plant. This pruning will help to promote the growth of branches and accumulate nutrients, so as to achieve the purpose of promoting flowering. In addition to pruning the branches, they should also be reshaped to maintain good aesthetics. The cut branches can be used for cutting and cultivating into new plants

3、 After flowering

Pruning at the end of flowering is also crucial. To increase the number of flowers, cut the bare branches short after the end of flowering, leaving 2 branches on each branch
