1、 Basic preparation
We usually choose to turn the pots of meiguanlan from March to April or from October to November. The choice of flowerpots is also very particular. We usually use flowerpots with small mouth, deep body and large bottom hole. Planting wild seedlings in earthen pots can make orchid mud dry quickly, and good air permeability can ensure its rapid rooting. After 2-3 years, it can be transplanted into the porcelain basin. It should be noted that before turning the basin, the roots of meiguanlan must be soaked in clean water and brushed gently with a toothbrush. The yellow, sick and disabled leaves and rotten roots must be trimmed off. After dealing with the roots, put them in a cool place to dry p>
2、 Basin filling method
1. Method 1
After preparing the flowerpot and plants, take the orchid plant upside down and wash it under the slow flow of clean water. Grasp the orchid head with two fingers, put your little thumb against the edge of the flowerpot, and fix the root of meiguanlan with bamboo chopsticks. Pour in the mixed gravel until the bottom of the basin is one-third, then pour in the medium-sized plant particles to four fifths, pull out the bamboo chopsticks, shake the flowerpot to make the plant material solid, and then use tools to smooth the surface p>
2. Method 2
Cover the bottom of the purple sand basin with perforated nylon yarn. Before transplantation, lay coarse stones accounting for about two fifths of the total volume of the flowerpot and 3-5cm thick coarse stone culture soil on the bottom, and then put orchids in it. When putting on the basin, pay attention to keep the root unfolded, not curled. When planting American crown orchid, we must move the old grass to the edge and put the new grass in the center of the flowerpot, so as to ensure that the new grass has space to grow p>
During planting, hold the orchid in your left hand, add mud in your right hand, and then lift the orchid slightly to ensure the natural stretch of the root. While adding soil, gently shake the flowerpot, so that the soil and roots closely fit together. Finally, pile the basin surface into a "steamed bread shape" slightly lower in the middle and around, and then spread a layer of moss on it p>
