Seed acquisition
Blueberry seeds are actually very easy to obtain. You can go to the supermarket to buy fresh blueberries and cut them in the middle with a knife. Look at the center of the fruit. There are some particles growing around the center. These are blueberry seeds p>
Blueberry seeds are very small, so we need to use toothpicks to pull them out. After that, put the seeds into shallow water to wash and remove the residual pulp p>
Then soak the seeds with gibberellin to break its dormancy and then they can be used for sowing p>
Matrix selection
Blueberry seeds are not suitable for sowing on ordinary soil. It is best to sow them on fresh and clean water moss p>
After transplanting, it is necessary to select the substrate with pH of 4.0 ~ 5.5, and ensure that it contains a certain amount of rotten leaves p>
Sowing method
Before sowing, first prepare a comfortable container for blueberries. Choose a box about 8cm deep, and put fresh and moist water moss in it p>
Then sprinkle the seeds evenly on the water moss. At this time, it should be noted that a little more can be sprinkled, first, because its germination rate is really not high, and second, because it needs to be transplanted later p>
Put a layer of plastic wrap or newspaper on the box to keep the humidity inside the box. Be careful to make a few small holes in the plastic wrap or newspaper. This is to facilitate the breathing of seeds and help them germinate p>
It takes about a month for the seed to germinate. During this period, it should be placed in the environment of 16 ℃ ~ 21 ℃, and watered in time to keep the water moss moist p>
Transplanting method
When the young plant grows to 5 ~ 8cm and several true leaves grow, it can be removed from the water moss and planted to the selected culture substrate p>
First, prepare a flower pot with a good substrate, with a diameter of about 30cm p>
Wet the substrate by soaking in a basin p>
Then dig a small hole on it with a shovel, about 5 ~ 10 p>
Then take the young plants out of the moss container and transplant them into the pit. Be careful not to damage the root of the young plant, that is, not to expose its root to the air p>
After placing, bury the plant with excess substrate and compact it, so that the root of the plant is close to the medium p>
Finally, pour some water to give young plants a better development environment p>
When the plants grow up, they can be transplanted again in pots according to specific conditions p>
