Ramet time

This method is very common in ordinary flowers. The time is generally selected before germination, basically from March to April. However, if it is not cold resistant water lily, you can choose to operate after mid May, because it is not so cold during this period, and the survival rate after rametting may be relatively large

Steps of ramet

Dig out the rhizome in advance, and then fill in some plump new stems to form small segments of 8-10cm, but at least one bud should be brought on each segment, and then you can plant it again. Place the top bud upward and bury the lower part into the soil surface. The soil can be directly buried into the bud hole. If you want to plant more than one, you can't plant too many in one pot, just 5-7, so that they won't be short of nutrients at the beginning

After planting, first put it in a place with good sunshine, and then water it, but not too much. After the temperature rises, we can add a little more water. In summer, the water level can be deeper

When the fruit is not ripe, it can be covered with gauze, so that the seeds can fall directly into the bag after breaking. After collecting the seeds, they should also be stored in water, because it will be difficult to germinate if they are stored dry. The best operation time is from March to April. Sow it into fertile clayey soil, compact it, and then add water. The soil water level is 4cm-3

Maintenance after planting

It's best to keep the temperature at 25-30 ℃. If it can't be reached, you can appropriately move the basin to the sunny position. After this treatment, it will germinate in half a month
