Cutting propagation
This method is common to us, but because the temperature has a great impact on the survival of seedlings, we should choose the time according to the local temperature. Friends living in the north can choose to do it from October to November. At this time, although the outdoor temperature drops sharply, the North has heating and can provide greenhouse, so it is better at this time. Friends living in the South can choose to do it in April p>
Cuttings should be selected for 2 years, and those that are too tender cannot survive. Cut it to about 10cm and cut off the lower half of the leaves for disinfection. After the operation is completed, it is best to smear a little rooting powder on the lower part, so that the root can be produced in half a month when the temperature is maintained at 20-24 ℃. When the seedlings begin to grow, they can enter the pot, so that they can bloom in another two years p>
Strip propagation
This method is also common. In April, select the disease-free branch with good growth, but the longer one with a length of 20-30cm. If there are three branches, you can get three seedlings at a time. Generally, it can take root within a month. If the maintenance is good, it can be separated from the mother plant in June, and can be directly planted in the basin in the next spring p>
Sow
This method is relatively slow. It takes at least the third year to blossom after success, so friends with the first two conditions try to choose the first two methods, especially those who choose potted plants in the north. It is not easy to get seeds, and it takes a year to germinate after planting. Friends who choose this method should pay attention to choosing plump seeds p>
If you sow in spring, you can sow before and after the rain, so the probability of survival will be relatively large. If you choose friends in autumn, you can choose the time of the autumnal equinox, and the temperature and other conditions will be more appropriate p>
