1、 Frequency of water change
1. Rooting stage
The period when we put the purchased Fugui bamboo into the vase after it is processed is called the rooting period until its new roots grow out. This period usually lasts for 15-30 days until the root whiskers grow from the bottom of the stem p>
During this period, we need to change water for it more frequently to prevent its roots from rotting. Specifically, you can change the water every 2-3 days p>
2. Maturity
Relative to the rooting period, we call the time after the root of hydroponic Fugui bamboo exceeds 1 cm as the maturity period p>
In this period, we don't need to change the water too often, otherwise it will appear yellow leaves. When changing the water, you don't need to change all of them. You can change half and leave half. You can change the water every 10 days or so. In addition, pay special attention, because the water will evaporate at ordinary times, so it should be supplemented in time p>
3. Special circumstances
In summer, when the temperature is high, we can change the water every other week; In winter, when the temperature is low, we can change the water every two or even three weeks p>
In addition, if the water in the vase is found to be turbid, it means that the water can no longer meet its growth requirements. At this time, it is also necessary to change the water in time. In this case, it is not necessary to set aside half of the water to add new water, but to replace all the original water with new water p>
2、 Water selection
It is best to choose purified water for breeding. If there are no conditions, you can also choose tap water. However, it should be noted that this disinfection gas will remain in tap water. We need to prepare it the day before use and put it in the sun to volatilize the gas p>
3、 Amount of water added
Hydroponics can not put too much water in the bottle. Generally, the water can reach 1 / 3-1 / 2 of the height of the vase p>
The specific amount can be adjusted according to your own situation. Just make the water level 2-3cm higher than the highest part of its root p>
