Selection of seeds

If you want to plant a pot of good flowers, good seeds are an essential prerequisite. Good seeds should meet the following conditions:

1. Round and plump without deformity

2. Free from pests and diseases

3. No mechanical damage resulting in deformity

4. The storage time is not long. It's best to harvest it in the same year

Disinfection

Disinfection includes three aspects: one is to disinfect the seed itself, the other is to disinfect the medium for sowing, and the third is to disinfect the flowerpot for sowing

For seeds, hot water can be used for disinfection. Soak the seeds in 60 ℃ water for 15 minutes

The substrate can be disinfected by exposure or hot frying. Exposure method is to spread out the substrate, put it in a clean place and expose it to the sun for 5 ~ 6 hours. The hot frying method is to put the matrix into the pot and heat it up, then take it out and wait for it to cool

For flower pots, disinfectant can be used for disinfection. Soak the flowerpot in disinfectant for 30 minutes, take it out and wash it repeatedly with clean water, and then put it in a cool place to dry

Budding

In order to increase the germination rate of seeds, we can soak the seeds in water at 30 ℃ for 12 ~ 24 hours to make them absorb water and expand

Matrix selection

Good planting medium can provide good enough conditions for seed germination and young plant growth

The planting substrate of cinnabar root can choose the substrate with strong permeability, good drainage and high fertility. It can not only provide nutrition, but also provide a better growth environment for it

Planting method

Cinnabar roots can grow well without special planting methods

Place the selected substrate in the flowerpot, level the surface, and then sprinkle the seeds on the substrate. Then cover the seeds with a layer of soil, and then wet them with clean water

In the whole process, pay attention to protect the seed from damage, otherwise it may not germinate

After planting, pay attention to watering in time, and do not let the substrate of flowerpot seed dry

Put the flowerpot in a semi shady room and you can grow seedlings in a week or two
